I met Mary and her mother several months ago, and while we waited for the frigid weather to leave, it still wasn’t exactly warm the day we took these shots. Actually, it was freezing, but at least we had a little sun, and Mary was brave enough to endure the chill while we popped off a few shots of her in that gorgeous dress she had wisely chosen to bring along. (I thought it was perfect for these shots of her in the tall grass.) I’ve thrown in the image of the shoes just for fun, as who couldn’t love their poppy glow. Striking, really.
Always an honor to play a small role in preserving memories, and Mary is a remarkable young woman. Soon she’ll be heading off to study pre-med at OSU, and no doubt she’ll do wonderfully: Bright, grounded, focused – and beautiful in every way. Here’s to Mary.
