Ohio’s Got Talent

Ohio’s Got Talent …

So you better get that party started

Sort of sings like Macy Gray. Kinda looks like a young Sally Field/older Miley Cyrus. And, according to all accounts, she plays the violin and is heading off to study sound engineering come fall semester.

Meet Taylor Forbes.

She’s an 18-year-old North-Canton chanteuse being taken under the wing of up-and-coming producer Justin Alexander of Humble Heroz - himself an unbelievably talented Akronite  – one who’ll soon be heading for NY to start an internship with Universal Motown, which is no small feat in and of itself.

Speaking of local music, while Akron was road-mapped decades ago by Devo, Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie Hynde and the Waitresses, the list of area musicians is fairly impressive – and you can find it here, if you’re interested.

A Sunday Walk in the Woods

A Sunday Walk in the Woods

Cuyahoga Valley National Park

As I may have mentioned, for the most part my blog posts will be significantly different from my Website (www.klm-photographics.com) images. The intention here is less artistically discriminatory than what (I hope) you’ll find there; instead, I simply want to share photographs and snapshots of what I’m experiencing, seeing and doing.

So, off to the park, and through the woods. And if a certain Woods Faerie’s father doesn’t mind, we might even catch a little dancing angel.

The Nest

Okay, so I was walking around Kent State University….

When I stumbled upon “the Nest.” In truth, I don’t what in the hell you’d call it, but it’s made of now-decaying newspapers and is placed – appropriately – in front of the Art Building.  How I ever missed it, I don’t know…considering I’ve just learned that it’s been there for a number of years.

As I found it a bit intriguing, I’m offering my perspective on it, starting with an overview. And since, apparently, my blog readership is limited at this point, I thought I would go out on a limb with my Nest – and others items -  and begin to post images of things that intrigue me, regardless of their viability in any formal sense.

All About the G’s

Golf and Geese

There’s nothing I love better than going golfing and photographing at the same time. It not only does wonders for my game, but it keeps me from being responsible for watching my partner’s ball on the tee-off, which I can never seem to follow or find anyway.

In other words, perfect.
